5.2.1-RELEASE: "make buildworld" on amd64 broken?

Hi all,

I CVSup'ed a complete new source tree (2004-02-24 11:30 UTC +01:00):

--- /usr/sup/src-supfile ---
*default host=cvsup.uk.FreeBSD.org
*default base=/usr
*default prefix=/usr
*default release=cvs tag=RELENG_5_2
*default delete use-rel-suffix
# *default compress

"make -B buildworld" does lots of compilations:

  root at grimbart:/tmp# grep ">>>" /tmp/make-buildworld.log
  >>> Rebuilding the temporary build tree
  >>> stage 1.1: legacy release compatibility shims
  >>> stage 1.2: bootstrap tools
  >>> stage 2.1: cleaning up the object tree
  >>> stage 2.2: rebuilding the object tree
  >>> stage 2.3: build tools
  >>> stage 3: cross tools
  >>> stage 4.1: building includes
  >>> stage 4.2: building libraries

.. and then ends up with:

  In file included from editline.c:4:
  /usr/src/lib/libedit/chared.c: In function `ch_init':
  /usr/src/lib/libedit/chared.c:456: error: `ED_UNASSIGNED' undeclared (first use in this function)
  /usr/src/lib/libedit/chared.c:456: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
  /usr/src/lib/libedit/chared.c:456: error: for each function it appears in.)
  /usr/src/lib/libedit/chared.c: In function `ch_reset':
  /usr/src/lib/libedit/chared.c:493: error: `ED_UNASSIGNED' undeclared (first use in this function)

Can anybody please tell me what is going wrong here?

I don't have any items in /etc/make.conf enabled.

"make buildkernel" works fine:

  root at grimbart:/tmp# uname -a
  FreeBSD grimbart.malepartus.de 5.2.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE #0: Tue Feb 24 11:10:07 CET 2004     bm at grimbart.malepartus.de:/usr/src/sys/amd64/compile/REINEKE  amd64
