Advocacy opportunity in XFree86/xdm/xlogin

I prefer the use of
over this one (ugly green)

I prefer that the BSD Daemon be used in the context of BSD software.
Clearly your proposed usage qualifies. I request that you include my
copyright somewhere (it need not be displayed, but needs to be
someplace that an interested party can find it).

Well, but wdm is not installed by default, and I have never heard of
it before. I would consider it a failed advocacy effort :-)

I have just installed that port on 4.8-STABLE, and got an ugly Penguin
face on my screen!! Thanks, but even XFree86 globe is better for me.

After that I had a look at the Beastie pixmap provided by the wdm
Well.... I fully admit that the one I proposed before is far from
perfection, but it looks much better anyway.
And, BTW, I deinstalled wdm port. That's not something I want to have
on my machine.

I hope that Marshall Kirk McKusick will give us the permission to
use the picture in this case.

Let's promote the BSD style wherever that is possible!
