This is a logical fallacy, that fails to acknowledge the rest of the
possibilities that exist:

  * There's a problem with the hardware parts in question.

  * The hardware vendor is keeping information 'hidden' behind
    restrictive licenses that FreeBSD developers don't have access to.

and so forth...  The world isn't black and white only.
