Understood... Thanks Ian.. I'm attaching the dmesg here for the list,
thanks for the advice..  I'll see if anyone else has any suggestions..
also for the record I'm using a "Das Keyboard" so it has a usb and PS2
connections likely one for the built in usb hub while using PS2 forthe
keyboard I can unplug the  the usb connection and test as well for
debugging purposes and see if it comes back that way.
