powerd doesn't decrease CPU frequency in some cases

Yeah, I completely agree with you, Ian.

Unfortunately too many things "are taken from the ceiling" in this world 
:o(. But what's to be done... We have to dial with it and handle it 
somehow... just to decrease fan noise or to save power or whatever else...
