 This is actually easy to fix, provided that you know how to dump, edit
 and recompile your acpi dsdt using acpidump(8) and iasl(8). Take a
 look at http://people.freebsd.org/~ariff/acer_ferrari/ for an example
 on how to tweak and recover the functionality of battery status
 method.
