[snd software]

hi, i've got a problem with system reboot. I've
FreeBSD-5.2.1. my laptop(Compaq Presario 1685) freezes
after typing 'reboot' or 'shutdown -r now' and after
FreeBSD prints its default messages like 'syncing
disks', etc. then my system goes blank and stays
frozen doing nothing anymore. i never had problems
like this with my FreeBSD-4.7. i learned that
FreeBSD-5.x has acpi module. so i'd like to know
whether acpi module could cause the problem i've got.
