This is a huge logistical nightmare, and I really wish I would have
been included on this review as the effective maintainer of this area.
The tree isn't the only producer of these, we have third party
trusted/untrusted certs to take into consideration and you've
effectively stopped taking them into consideration with insufficient
warning (UPDATING alone isn't enough).
