John Baldwin corrected my mis-thinking.  I was thinking we could use a 
ddb command to send output to a terminal but it'll only go to a 
console.  Another possible approach is to use dtrace but that's probably 
less-likely to be configured into a kernel so I'm not sure which way is 
best.  Ideally we'd have a framework for drivers to report statistics 
through a standard interface like netstat but that's not there (yet).
