Actually, as it was pointed out, ``:>>'' doesn't change a modification
time, so I simply reverted my changes (module a bugfix for man.local)
and am not inclined to invent another method of touching them, now
that it's clear there's some reasonable resistance to this approach.

If someone wants to document the files that are not normally touched
if they exist (if you don't use "install -C" routinely), here they are:

/boot/loader.rc
/usr/share/tmac/man.local
/usr/share/tmac/mm/locale
/usr/share/tmac/mm/se_locale
/etc/mail/mailer.conf
/var/yp/Makefile

Probably there exist more of them...
