If you diff between rev 1.2 and rev 1.1.1.8 (the most recent rev on the 
vendor branch) you'll see the content revert to what you were probably 
expecting.  What you see in this commit message is the result of taking
the file off of the vendor branch and thus the cumulative effect of all
of the vendor branch changes that have happened since the very first
import.

I got fooled by the same thing just now with my gcc commit.
