Hi Erwin,
Gerald and I are aware of PR 140783
(http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=140783) and are trying to
figure out the best way to fix pdftk (gcj support, really) and support
it on amd64 at the same time.
Last week, I spent some time building gcj on gcc44 and gcc42 (both i386
and amd64) and got these results:
gcj44 (amd64): core dumps while building pdftk
gcjh44 (amd64): core dumps while building pdftk
gcj44 (i386): compiles portions of pdftk successfully
gcjh44 (i386): core dumps while building pdftk
gcj42/gcjh42 on i386/amd64: builds all of pdftk successfully
My goal is to get gcj44/gcjh44 working on i386 and amd64, but I'm going
to need some help.
Thank you,
Greg
