Hmm, ok, I see what you mean. I'll go ahead and dig through the latest boost
commits.

I can build boost with gcc-4.2.1_20070627 on 6.2-STABLE/i386 just fine btw.
(with + without OPTIMIZED_CFLAGS, ICU, THREADS, etc.)
