Instead of explaining your dislikes about this chapter, how
about you `fix' it? It's out of date, parts are broken, and
the markup needs tidied up.

Furthermore, this has nothing to do with 'email specific' software,
it explains how to set up FreeBSD for mail send only server.
Perhaps if it was:

``How to set up Microsoft Exchange.''

then I would agree that this is useless.

Then why not go and hack up a copy of the handbook to your
specifications and show -doc your version?

Since you think it should pertain only to FreeBSD, then I suggest you
either remove the following sections or rewrite them to be specific
to FreeBSD:

3.9 Shells: Discusses bash and zsh (ports, no base)
Chapter 5, X: X is not in the base system
Chapter 7, Security: Discusses ports
Chapter 12, Storage: Discusses ports
Chapter 15, Desktop Applications: Discusses ports
Chapter 16, Multimedia: Discusses ports
Chapter 20, Electronic Mail: Discusses ports and alternative MTAs and the like,

I'm sure there are many other parts of the handbook that say:

To do this, install this port, configure like so.

Those should be removed too.

Because that is only one of many parts which this small section
addresses. And I do mean small in comparison to other sections
I have wrote and added.
