It would have been much better to handle the content change to the
readme file as an entry to the errata instead.  After this commit (as
well as the unnecessary whitespace commit to this file that followed),
the generated HTML on the Web site cannot be reproduced starting from
the DocBook files.

Of more immediate relevance to the user base is the fact that if a
user gets the readme file from (say) a CDROM and then checks the
errata file before installing (as we encourage people to do), she will
have no indication that there was any change in the mailing list
manager.

You don't have to back out the readme change, but please add this to
the errata (or send me a patch).

To really "fix" this problem in a permanent way, the DocBook sources
for the readme file need to be updated on both HEAD and RELENG_4.
