Worse actually, 16 June 2007, over a year ago. :( I am sorry both
that it took so long for me to take action and that I forgot your
original request.
In my defense I'd like to point out that it took some time for that
code to settle out:
--- 9.4.0a1 released ---
1910. [bug] dig's +sigchase code overhauled. [RT #14933]
1720. [bug] 'dig +chase' did not terminate on a RFC 2308
Type 1 negative response. [RT #12506]
1683. [bug] dig +sigchase could leak memory. [RT #11445]
1668. [bug] DIG_SIGCHASE was making bin/dig/host dump core.
But it still would have been nice to get this option in there after
9.4.1 was released. My only other explanation is the typical ENOTIME.
Enjoy it now in any case,
Doug
PS, if it makes you feel better I still had your original e-mail in my
inbox, so I'd have found it eventually.
