The name "David Taylor" is unique enough for nothing. Even the other
day I phoned up to get an appointment at the optician and after
asking my name they said, "OK, there's a lot of David Taylor's here,
whats your DOB?" (as it turned out they had my DOB down as 31/12/1899,
which didn't help, but the point is my name is not unique even in my
local area, never mind the Internet).

Given that I am already filtering 150+ spams a day, I'd rather have
my e-mail address listed (if I'm given credit at all) than "save"
myself from spam I wouldn't notice.
