For 4.x?  I'm not sure that would be a good use of time to be honest.  I 
created /sys/conf/NOTES in 5-CURRENT as a way of getting a LINT for Alpha, 
but I don't think that can all be easily MFC'd due to the divergence between 
4 and 5.
