The ia64 comment was more that the module probably shouldn't have been enabled 
on ia64 in the first place.  Why would you want to hack up a way to stick an 
8-bit ISA 10Mbit ethernet card in a machine that probably has at least one 
(probably two or more) 10/100 (if not gige) builtin NICs.
