Problem w/ Linux 2.4.2 & Justin's SCSI patch

Latest update:

The patch applied cleanly against 2.4.2. It might actually be possible that
I tried to apply Justin's patch to a 2.4.2 kernel that got Doug's patch
applied first somehow...

At boot I still get the 3 'request_module[scsi_host_adapter]:root fs not
found' messages, but it's mainly a cosmetic issue. A few lines further down
my Adapter 2930U2 gets detected and everything goes fine from that point
on.

To date I've burned 3 CD's, and scanned about 24 pages without any problems
(record with the previous drivers was 102 scans before it resetted on me
and the 'fun' began). I hope to be able to give the SCSI driver a similar
beating as I did Doug's driver which resulted in the 'Unexpected busfree'
messages, but so far I can at least say that the SCSI subsystem is holding
up nicely.

Thank you for your help and patience.
