Problem with recognizing umax scanner

Hi,

The Astra 2200 is working nicely here on a different scsi-controller though. I got
a cheap ncr810 based one. 

>From what you sent I guess that you do not have the sg (generic scsi) interface in
your kernel. This is needed for the scanner access. Try to load the module "sg".
