New Kernel won't boot, halts on SCSI driver with messages (FreeBSD 4.3)

Since you didn't give any system info, nor provide the messages printed
by the driver, I can't say that it will address your problem, but the last
update of the aic7xxx driver in -stable was on Aug 5th.
