Strange lockups with an IBM

I recently replaced one of my drives with DDRS-39130W and for some
reason, whenever I'm running amanda backups (even when it's just a
flush to tape), I get scsi lockups. Watchdog rebooted the system just
as I noticed the messages, so I couldn't record them, but I've
disabled watchdog so that I can write them down next time.
A while back you were able to help me with a problem with a different
IBM drive (that one had the dque bit set wrong), so I thought I'd see
if there's a known problem with this one.
I'm happy to RTFM if I know which M. (And yes, I noticed that I don't
have tagged queueing enabled. I'll have to look in to that. I didn't
realize I had to do anything special to turn it on.)
Thanks
