SCSI speed with IBM DGVS09U (8 GB) hard drive, Linux

Hello Jochen,

it works with 40 MHz/s in our PCs. Our logging (dmesg) follows:

You should check the adaptec setup. And perhaps you should go to a newer
linux version with a newer adaptec-driver. We have linux-2.1.131.
