Hello Doug,

I have tried to use the latest version of Linux that I found at
ftp.kernel.org, 2.2.13, but am having no luck with the 2940UW driver,
aic7xxx. I am compiling to build an smp mode kernel, but everytime I
boot this version (or older versions) I get reset and timeout loop
errors. Do you have a version of the driver that works in smp mode?

I am have a Redhat 6.0 system, if that helps.
