I wonder if I may plug a U2W device like an IBM hd
in my 2940 UW chain?
The U2W disk are cheaper than UW disks but I only
have 2940 UW and not U2W. I plan to buy an U2W later.

	System should be:

	Linux 2.2.x
MB ASUS P2B-D [without scsi U2W chipset]
	Adaptec 2940 UW

1 IBM IBM 4.3Go UW HDisk (on the UW scsi chain)
1 Yamaha CDRW-4416S (on the narrow scsi chain)
May be 1 IBM IBM 9.1Go U2W HDisk (on the UW scsi chain)
1 SCSI CD-ROM (on the narrow scsi chain)

The 2 IBM HDisks would be on the same UW scsi chain.
Any advices?
