curious bootup warning/error

Please forgive me if I leave any important information out, I just
recently graduated from IDE and moved on to SCSI.... 

Software
========
os: redhat5.1
kernel: 2.0.35

scsi driver: Adaptec AIC7xxx driver version: 5.0.19/3.2.4

Hardware

Dell Poweredge 4300, dual P2 333
AIC-7880 Ultra SCSI -wide (builtin):  single hd attached 
AIC-7860 Ultra SCSI -narrow (builtin): single cd rom drive attached
AHA-2940 Ultra SCSI -wide (pci bus): empty
backplane: I don't know.....

So, on to the problem. Well, it's not really a problem yet, because
everything is running fine. However, the machine is a production server
so I need to be sure I understand what the following error message 
means and if I should even care. Note that this message never came up
under redhat5.1 with kernel and modules of version 2.0.34-2 on the same
machine:
