My Problem was, that the writing stopped after about 3 or 3.5 GB written
data (compression switched on). I then set "AIC7XXX_RESET_DELAY: 10" ,
built a new kernel, restarted the backup with the same tape and it ended
successfully, so the reason might be totally different and unrelated to
the kernel settings.
