Sam,

Did you follow the instructions in the README.boot.img file found under
ftp://ftp.dialnet.net/pub/linux/aic7xxx/boot_disks/5.1.0-pre10/RedHat/images
/RedHat-5.1/ ?

If you did not have the README, that would explain your problem.
