I had a AHA-2940U2 with two SEAGATE ST39102LW on the external LVD
connector running under Linux 2.1.125 using RAID-0 to stripe them.

When fetching a large image from the net, I found that the result was
corrupted on disk. On further investigation, it appears that when
accessing both disks "simultaneously" (e.g. RAID-0 or copying from one
disk to the other) there appear to be errors such that about 3 to 20
4 byte words are written to (or read from) the wrong area -- the slip
being a multiple of 1KB. As this machine was "in service", I PANICed
and moved the SCSI bus from the external LVD connector to the Ultra Wide
internal connector, and it's now OK.

Unfortunately I don't have a spare system on which to do any tests.
Has anyone seen this before or have any sugegstions ?
