5.0.18: "Bad scbptr 255 during SELTO"

I upgraded to 5.0.19, but the

(scsi0:-1:-1:-1) Bad scbptr 255 during SELTO.
(scsi0:-1:-1:-1) Referenced SCB 255 not valid during SELTO.
        SCSISEQ = 0x12 SEQADDR = 0xb SSTAT0 = 0x10 SSTAT1 = 0x8a

error messages are still with me.

This boot, the driver also seems to have missed my Zip drive and
Plextor SCSI CD-ROM.

Here's further information about my system:

    - 3 hard disks:

        Seagate ST32550N
        IBM DORS-32160
        Quantum Viking 4.5 NSE

    - Iomega SCSI Zip drive

    - Plextor 12x SCSI CD-ROM

    - UMAX Vista S-6E scanner (in the middle of one of my external
      SCSI chains, but not turned on during this boot)
