pre4 is good for me (Was: 5.0.x much more broken than 4.0.x?

It looks like it doesn't detect any of your two CD-ROM drives ;-)

  I just quoted your mail, because pre2 worked great with my AHA3940
but pre4 just gave me hangs without any messages. It's the same
problem that I reported a few weeks (months?) ago: the LED stays on
and it just hangs completly. 

  With pre2 it was the first time I was able to use tagged-queueing
and all, but pre4 just don't work at all. I don't want to let this
mail getting larger, but I could mail /proc/scsi/aic7xxx/* and such
if you want me to.
