Hello ..
There is a compilation problem in the SCSI sys of the 2.1.92 - 93 kernel.
When i compile a kernel with aic7xxx support enabled i get the folowing
error.
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2
-fomit-frame-pointer -D__SMP__ -pipe no-strength-reduce -m486
-malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=686 -D__SMP__ -c
-o aic7xxx.o aic7xxx.c
In file included from aic7xxx.c:120: aic7xxx/sequencer.h:43: redefinition
of `u_int8_t'
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/types.h:75: `u_int8_t' previously declared
here
make[3]: *** [aic7xxx.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/drivers/scsi'
make[2]: *** [first_rule] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/drivers/scsi'
make[1]: *** [sub_dirs] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/drivers'
make: *** [linuxsubdirs] Error 2
I'm sure it's not a serious bug but i cannot fix it cos i'm not a
programer i'm net. admin.
I hope this will be fixed in the next releases.
Thanks in advance and greetings..
Lior.
