Boot errors?

Are you ___SURE___ that you executed lilo after moving the image to /vmlinuz?
You MUST do this to build the absolute references for LILO to find the image
at boot time. It sounds very much like LILO is loading an old image that is
partially written over so that it runs out of data during decompression.
If this is the case, don't feel bad. EVERYONE does this at one point or
another. I am very sensitive to the problem because it has caused me many
headaches. ;-)
