If this is the wrong place for this question, or if there's some FAQ
or something I should RTFM, please let me know.

I've been running linux 2.1.26 sucessfully for a while, and I just
tried to compile and run version 2.1.50. Here's the aic7xxx version
string for the new kernel:

 $Id: aic7xxx.h,v 3.2 1996/07/23 03:37:26 deang Exp $

When I reboot I get the following errors:

  scsi0: Encountered spurious interrupt.
  scsi0: SCSIINT - Someone reset channel A.
  (scsi0: -1:0) Reset device, active_scb 0
  Kernel panic: aic7xxx: Waiting List inconsistency; SCB index=255
  numsets=0

In case it matters, I didn't set any of the special optimizations:

  CONFIG_SCSI_AIC7XXX=y
  # CONFIG_AIC7XXX_TAGGED_QUEUEING is not set
  # CONFIG_OVERRIDE_CMDS is not set
  # CONFIG_AIC7XXX_PAGE_ENABLE is not set
  # CONFIG_AIC7XXX_PROC_STATS is not set
  CONFIG_AIC7XXX_RESET_DELAY=15

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
