As Bjoern already noted, the patch can be applied for nvidia-drm-66-kmod, too
(need modifying patch here to apply, though).

Or simply copy patch-nvidia-drm-freebsd-lkpi.c-20250918-01 in
graphics/nvidia-drm-61-kmod/files/ into graphics/nvidia-drm-66-kmod/files/ and
rebuild / reinstall should be OK.

And for driver crash, are you sure you switched corresponding
graphics/drm-66-kmod to graphics/drm-61-kmod, too?

And note that the versions of x11/nvidia-driver and nvidia part of
graphics/nvidia-drm-*-kmod SHALL match. Are you sure they are?
