My system has a Intel HD3000 gpu, runs with FreeBSD 14.3, has the drm-61 and
presents the same symptom at least since 14.1 and with drm-515.

It's an old hardware - a 2011 macbook pro and it would be nice if the problem
could be resolved.

I would be glad to oblige and provide more details but for that I would have to
ask for some advice as to pull them since I am a neophyte in debugging - I
searched and found many detailed pieces of information that are too above my
knowledge to even determine where and with what to start, but I am willing to
follow through recommendations, suggestions, advices...

And I'm not in a hurry as I understand we're all in a collective effort to
tackle problems.
