loading the amdgpu firmware .ko files works perfectly here on 16-CURRENT, and
it seems it also works for Guido so something is wrong with your setup.

Now for the panic it's known, amdgpu needs the firmware and will try to
kldunload if it can't load it and this never worked on FreeBSD (well it did a
long time ago and stopped working).
