for amdgpu I had the same issue on main; kldload amdgpu, wait 5 seconds, see
POST (no ddb or anything).  I believe but have not validated that running
GENERIC-NODEBUG fixed it for me (which is bad as a developer as it means I
don't get a lot of other dogfood on my laptop anymore).
