Another update. I did consider closing this issue since the basic functionality
of an X session works now, and even mpv works. However I've continued to have
programs which worked on my RTX 4070 Ti not work on my RTX 5090. One example is
llama.cpp, I've opened a github issue for it here:

https://github.com/ggml-org/llama.cpp/issues/15996

I will say that llama.cpp was always somewhat temperamental on the RTX 4070 Ti.
Usually, I have to restart the program a couple times before it works. But
after that it works for the rest of the X session even after more restarts. Yet
on the 5090, it won't work even after trying 10 times in a row. The problem is
still present on the most recent 580.105.08 driver. And I believe that the
issue affecting llama.cpp is not isolated to just that one program.

Austin, is this something you're aware of? I noticed you made a post in the
NVIDIA forum promising further fixes for Blackwell GPUs. Is this related to
that?
