I chrooted to an partition where a 14.1-STABLE is installed.
$ ld -v
LLD 18.1.4 (FreeBSD llvmorg-18.1.4-0-ge6c3289804a6-1400006) (compatible with
GNU linkers)
$ cc -Wl,--version-script=test_version2.map test.c -o test
$ echo $?
0

Here it works.
