https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=280431 --- Comment #9 from Tomoaki AOKI <junchoon@dec.sakura.ne.jp> --- (In reply to Gleb Popov from comment #8) So, anyway, pkg-message[.in], which is to-be-contained material in pre-built pkg, is NOT good for this purpose. But displaying notes about PORTS_MODULES at start or last of builds would be helpful for anyone building kmod ports at the first time. Not the same but something alike would be the warning about memory and disk space on www/chromium displayed at (almost) start of builds. This is done on ports Makefile, but for kmod cases, Mk/Uses/kmod.mk would be the proper place to handle it. IIRC, PORTS_MODULES was mentioned somewhere in the Handbook, but I cannot find it now. It would be nice if it is documented somewhere in Chapter 4, 10 or 26 of the Handbook. By searching Internet, found the notes in Chapter 5.4.5 of outdated Japanese (translated) Handbook. https://docs.freebsd.org/ja/books/handbook/x11/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
