I did this enticed by the comment from the slighty earlier 1e010401b80196ac5904ad4e8b8b9589e61394b4 : "Fixes startup lockup of i915kms after update to drm-kmod v5.12". Although the port is drm 5.10 and it is not clear if the comment means a fi= x to the just preceding, linuxkpi-related, commit or to a more general issue, th= is seemed like it may be possibly relevant.
