This is marginally an improvement from FreeBSD 12, where kldload amdgpu would
always immediately totally lock up the machine, with no recovery path short of
powering down and back on. And when this crash DOESN'T happen, everything
works marvelously well (and considerably better than running in VESA mode), so
thanks for the work so far!
