hccontrol(8)'s man page lists "LE_Set_Scan_Parameters" as a subcommand:

On FreeBSD 15.1, this returns an error:

    # hccontrol -n ubt0hci le_set_scan_parameters
    Unknown command: "le_set_scan_parameters"

This subcommand is actually named "le_set_scan_param":

    # hccontrol -n ubt0hci le_set_scan_param

The subcommand's name is listed correctly when running "hccontrol help".

So the man page should be updated.

I think this is still an issue in FreeBSD 15.2 and 16.0.
