Thanks to everyone who bared with us on this one and thanks for all the
workaround engineering and thanks to everyone who tested the framework and let
us know!

I'll close this one now.  Please re-open if you have suspend/resume problems
after updating to the framework.  Don't forget to remove your workarounds
first!

There is one bugfix coming still but that's only catching a pre-caution for
when USB might come one day.
