Indeed this kernel was built a couple weeks ago.
I wrote here because I didn't see activity, so I'm glad that this should be
fixed now.
I will test in a few days and let you updated.

As for reproducing the crash, I discovered the problem like so: if in wpa_gui I
press repeatedly the connect button the kernel consistently panics. Same for
wpa_cli.
Maybe it's some kind of race condition, but you probably will know more than
me.
