Hi,

you say "the entire system freezes, crashes and reboots without any kernel
panic message"?

If you don't get a kernel panic, what contributes to the "crashes"?

Do you get any error messages from rtw890/wlan0 beforehand?  If so, can you
please share them?

Also could you share the output of pciconf -lv | grep 8852BE -B2
which should be the entry for your card so we have the PCI IDs?

The Linux drivers we use are still under development and also not bug free. 
There was one particular bug which got fixed after 15.0 which caused trouble
for most Realtek 89 chipsets.

Do you have a chance to try stable/15 or main (could also be inside a VM with
PCI passthru) to see if the problem is sorted there?
If you want but don't know how please let me know and I'll try to assist.
Otherwise I'd suggest trying 15.1-BETA/RC/RELEASE as soon as available next
month.

I do have a rtw890 Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8852BE PCIe 802.11ax
Wireless Network Controller here and used to run tests on it recently (on main
which is in sync with stable/15) and didn't experience any hard errors.  That
doesn't mean they couldn't be there anymore.
