Both the original node_free (see also  PR 273985) and the scan_to_auth panics
(and netif restart) are believed to be fixed and should not be seen in
15/14/13/13.3 from RC1 on anymore.

I'll close this.  In case you see them still after updating, please re-open!
In case things work, kindly leave a note for history here :)
