Hi, sorry, some PRs got assigned to wireless all the way up the meta-chain and some were initially not classified. I am cleaning this up and add more meta-bugs as categories. There are still a LOT of old PRs (pre-2020) which are unclassified. You can see the hierarchy of meta-bugs here: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/showdependencytree.cgi?id=277512&hide_resolved=1 Currently the hierarchy looks like with one open bug left assigned to the top-level and the "276095: DEVELOPMENT" left for archives until dealt with from when cc@ was working on WiFi beginning of thie year. 277512: General wireless meta-bug for tracking PRs [See dependency tree for bug 277512] 273622: LinuxKPI based wireless drivers meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 273622] 273620: iwlwifi meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 273620] 273621: rtw88, rtw89 meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 273621] 273623: mt76 meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 273623] 273624: athk ath10k ath11k ath12k meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 273624] 276095: DEVELOPMENT: wireless development coordination meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 276095] 278175: Intel native driver meta-bug (iwi, iwn, iwm) [See dependency tree for bug 278175] 280442: ath(9) meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 280442] 283171: net80211 PRs [See dependency tree for bug 283171] 283172: wpa meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 283172] 283173: rtwn meta-bug [See dependency tree for bug 283173] 279934: WITHOUT_WIRELESS=yes does not work with iwlwifi (should be: WITHOUT_WIRELESS_SUPPORT=yes does not work with any wireless module) [See dependency tree for bug 279934] Please feel free to assign old bugs to the leave it belongs to (only). Double-dependencies are rare but can happen in case say the native iwn driver and net80211 do not agree on some HT bits as an example. We can also add more meta-bugs as needed but I am cautious curently. This should help people looking for a sepcific driver to see which bugs are open (or have been closed) for this one to not have to search by chance at time. I should also help developers to see all open related bugs to a driver, to indentify duplicates, ... Given all leave PRs should have wireless on Cc: I'll try to remove wireless@ from the meta-bugs (sorry for more spam) but you could feel free to subscribe them individually to get nottified about all PRs of a particular driver. I hope that helps and explains why this is done. I am sure I forgot a few more reasons that made me start using the hierarchy. Blessed weekend, Bjoern -- Bjoern A. Zeeb r15:7
